Personal Possessions

Select this section if you had items of personal possessions (including passport, money or ski equipment) lost, stolen or damaged and/or incurred costs to obtain an emergency passport.

When submitting the claim you will need the following documents to hand:

  • Policy schedule
  • Booking invoice or proof of travel dates
  • Reports obtained in support of the incident and where no reports provided the contact details and reference given by whoever you did report the incident to
  • Receipts and other evidence of value and pre-loss ownership
  • Cash withdrawals/bank statements/foreign currency exchange slips for claims for lost money
  • Estimates of repair costs or confirmation any damaged items are beyond repair, provided by an official repairer
  • Your bank account number and sort code for the claim settlement

Baggage Delay

Select this section if your luggage was delayed and you had to make emergency purchases.

When submitting the claim you will need the following documents to hand:

  • Policy schedule
  • Booking invoice or proof of travel dates
  • Property Irregularity Report
  • Receipts for your emergency purchases
  • Confirmation of date and time the luggage was returned to you
  • Confirmation of payments received by transport provider
  • Your bank account number and sort code for the claim settlement
